Master-Thesis

The Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Business Administration and Economics offers six core options. Each option provides a distinct focus on a specific field of career opportunities and attractive positions in the labour market.

  • Each core option consists of four required modules plus two elective modules plus one module which can be freely selected.
  • In the four required modules there are modules Business Administration, Economics and Methodology/Statistics which are complementary to each other.
  • As regards elective fields, 2 out of 4 modules have to be chosen so that students can put an individual focus on specific fields of interest.
  • Module no. 7 can freely be selected from the modules offered in the Department of Business Administration and Economics.
  • Seminars must be chosen from the required modules or from the elective modules chosen.
  • The Master Thesis picks up the focus of the core options. Students ideally should write their thesis in a field which is covered in current research topics/projects of the respective chair responsible for supervision of the Thesis – thus students get insights into current research and advanced projects. This should give for some also an ideal starting point for a career in Science/in the University System.
