Dear students,

here you will find relevant information about the exam phase. Due to the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 epidemic, the exams in the winter semester 2020/2021 will take place under special conditions. Please be sure to follow the instructions given here.

General Information

/

What changes because of the Corona regulations?

The exams as such do not change. The general conditions described in the examination regulations (e.g. the duration of the examination) remain unchanged. However, in order to provide you with the possibility of writing exams under the Corona conditions, we and you must follow some rules and measures. Those are summarised on this page.

What do I have to bring to the exam?

You must bring the following with you to the exam:

  • An official photo identification (identity card, passport, residence permit, driving licence)
  • Your Student ID Card
  • Writing and possibly drawing utensils
  • The aids permitted for the respective exam

You can bring the following to the exam:

  • Food
  • Beverages
  • Clock

Please try to bring as few other items (jackets, backpacks, helmets etc.) into the exam room as possible. It is not allowed to bring mobile phones or similar devices into the exam room.

When do I take my exam?

You will receive an e-mail approximately one week before each exam with exact information about the examination start time. For the current examination period there are three time slots per examination day in which examinations can potentially start:

09:00am - 10:30am
12:00pm - 01:30pm
03:30pm - 05:00pm
05:30pm - 07:00pm

Please arrive at the exam room 10-20 minutes before the exam starts and immediately take your assigned seat.

You can already find lists of the scheduled starting times on the pages of the Examination Office.

Where do I write my exam?

You will receive an email with your assigned exam room and seat approximately one week before each exam. To avoid crowds of people, there will be no displaying of the seat assignment in the exam room!

Directions and further information on the individual exam rooms can be found below under the headline "Examination Rooms".

Always keep to the designated routes for entrance and exit and also note where the waiting area is located if you arrive too early.

Which hygiene precautions must I follow?

The following hygiene measures must be followed:

  • Always and everywhere keep a minimum distance of 1.50m to other people.
  • Wearing a mask to protect your mouth and nose is strongly recommended. You will receive detailed information on the hygiene requirements for participation in the examination before the examination.
  • On the way to the examination room you will find permanently installed disinfectant dispensers for hand disinfection at the building entrances; the same applies to the exits of the examination rooms. Use these when entering the building and when leaving the examination rooms.
