Key data and basic information on the Exchange Program in Economics & Business

Partner universities should send nominations and application documents to Student Admission and Registration for International Students.

Please note the requirements for exchange students who plan to take courses at the Schumpeter School.

 We welcome undergraduate (Bachelor) and graduate (Master) students to participate in the exchange program.

Exchange students who come to the University of Wuppertal via other faculties and additionally plan to  take courses at the Schumpeter School should first contact the faculty's own Center for Foreign Contacts.

 

 

Exchange students who plan to take courses at the Schumpeter School have to meet the following requirements:

1. GPA requirement: 2.3 on a 4.0 scale

2. Language Requirements: Englisch B2 or German B2/C1 depending on the language of instruction of your courses

3. Personal Requirements: The willingness and motivation to plan and organize your studies and semester at BUW independently (with support from the Center for Foreign Contacts)

You should also have a certain degree of flexibility in your choice of courses.

The exchange program is offered in the winter and summer semester

Winter Semester:

Lecture period: Beginning/mid-October - Beginning/mid- February

Summer Semester:

Lecture period: Beginning/mid-April -  Beginning/mid-July

 

Austauschstudierende können ein Semester oder ein akademisches Jahr am Programm teilnehmen.

Exchange students can select courses in English or/and German.

We are pleased that lively in-class discussions can finally take place again on campus. All of our courses are offered as on-campus courses. Changes will be communicated accordingly.
